Since BUTLER CREEK KENNELS is located out in the country and 1/2 mile into Dodge County, Mapquest and the other mapping software programs make a lot of mistakes locating and giving driving directions. They show township dividing lines as roads where no road exists, and put you on roads that you should not take unless out sightseeing. They have also misnamed a lot of the roads. So, follow the directions listed at the bottom of this page and you will have no problems locating BUTLER CREEK KENNELS. Print a copy of this Map to assist you in your travels.

Downtown Hartford: 8 Minutes West Bend: 15 Minutes Mayville: 15 Minutes Oconomowoc: 20 Minutes Mequon, Milwaukee, & Waukesha: 35 Minutes

These are the Quickest and Easiest Directions to Follow. Mapping Software has the Roads all Wrong.

FROM THE SOUTH & EAST of Butler Creek Kennels: From the intersection of Hwy 60 & Hwy 83 in downtown Hartford. Go West on Hwy 60 exactly 2.7 miles to S. Goodland Rd. Turn right onto S. Goodland Rd and watch your odometer for the driveway to Butler Creek Kennels is exactly 3.3 miles to the North. Note: Butler Creek Kennels is located on Buchanan Rd. Make no turns off of Goodland Rd and it will automatically turn into Buchanan Rd. Watch for the doghouse shaped mailbox. A picture of it is on the Boarding Page.

FROM THE NORTH & EAST of Butler Creek Kennels: From the West Bend area, it is easiest to follow Hwy 33 to Hwy PS. Turn left and take Hwy PS to Hwy S (3 miles). Turn right & go to the Old Country Church on the hill (1/2 mile). Slow down and get ready to turn left onto Goodland Rd. Crest the hill and check for oncoming traffic before turning left, then follow to Buchanan Rd (1 mile). Turn right & watch for the doghouse shaped mailbox (200 feet).

SHORTCUT FROM MILWAUKEE AREA to Butler Creek Kennels: Take Hwy 41 North to Hwy K. Go left on Hwy K to Hwy 175 (3 miles). Turn right & go North to Hwy S (1.1 miles). Turn left & go West on Hwy S to the Old Country Church on a hill (4 miles). Slow down and get ready to turn left onto Goodland Rd. Crest the hill and check for oncoming traffic before turning left, then follow to Buchanan Rd (1 mile). Follow Goodland Rd to Buchanan Rd (1 mile). Turn right. Watch for the doghouse shaped mailbox shown on the boarding page (200 feet).

FROM THE SOUTHWEST, WEST & NORTHWEST of Butler Creek Kennels: Take Hwy P to Hwy S. Go East on Hwy S to the Old Country Church at the top of a hill (1.5 miles). Turn right and follow to Buchanan Rd (1 mile). Turn right & watch for the doghouse shaped mailbox pictured on the boarding page (200 feet). As you follow Hwy S to Goodland Rd you will cross over Buchanan Rd. Follow my directions for they are the quickest, easiest, and more importantly the safest.
